Taste North Challenge 2024

Attention all aspiring chefs and food enthusiasts! The entries for the Taste North Challenge 2024 are now open. We are excited to announce that we are once again sponsoring this amazing event, which aims to inspire young people across the North Highlands to unleash their creativity in the kitchen by developing innovative recipes that showcase the finest local ingredients.

To participate in the Taste North Challenge, create a new baking product that incorporates at least one “hero” ingredient from Caithness & Sutherland.

This year, Taste North have also introduced a new entry category:

15 and under
16-24
Open
Commercial Operator (new for 2024)

Remember, the deadline for submitting entry forms is Monday, October 28th, and all entries must be brought to Taste North by 11 am on November 3rd for our judges to taste and evaluate. Happy cooking!
