Responsibilities
As an On-Train Hospitality Assistant, you will have:
- A passion for putting the customer first and creating memorable customer experiences.
- A positive attitude with a natural ability for striking up a conversation with a diverse range of customers.
- An ability to get to and from the above location without relying on the rail service due to some early shift starts of approx. 08:00 hours and back shift finish times of approx. 22:00 hours, dependant on location. (Shifts are reviewed twice a year and any changes will be advised)
Full training will be provided.
Key skills that would be beneficial:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Numeracy and basic IT proficiency.
- Ability to follow procedures and prioritise safety.
- Capacity to work as part of a team or independently.
- A willingness to attend training and take responsibility for professional development.
Desirable Skills
- Experience handling cash and card payments.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar field.
- Relevant qualifications or experience at SCQF Level 5 (details on the SCQF Framework can be found at https://scqf.org.uk/about-the-framework/interactive-framework).
