Developing the Young Workforce North Highland

We were pleased to support two groups of S5 Business pupils from Wick High School who were keen to take part in a Young Enterprise Scotland Competition recently. Young Enterprise Scotland’s mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise education. So many were keen to get involved, the group were split in twoand both came up with great ideas! One group, with the company name ‘Cracking Crystal Creations’ have decided to produce and sell candles with various different scents which have crystals inside. They’ve sourced materials from environmentally friendly producers to make their product planet-friendly. The other group have decided to produce candles with a specific scent for Caithness, which they are working closely with the Science department to produce. Both groups are enthusiastic and excited to see where this takes them, they’ll use the funding we provided to purchase materials to create their products. Well done all!
