Enable Works: Inspiring Scotland – First Steps
Are you aged 16 or 17 and impacted by COVID-19? Do you have an additional support need or multiple barriers?
The Inspiring Scotland First Steps programme aims to:
- Build confidence
- Build motivation
- Find next steps to learning or training
- Begin to remove barriers
- Re-engage with school or learning
How will the programme work:
- One to one support, weekly
- Group activities available
- Employability tasks
- Confidence and motivation activities
- Explore next steps
To be eligible for this service the pupil must:
- Be 16 or 17 years old at point of registration
- Commit to working with an employment coordinator for 3-6 months
- Have been impacted by COVID 19 (everyone will qualify for this!)
- Have an Additional Support Need, Disability or multiple barriers
- Currently registered at school or just left
Registration must take place before 31 March 2021.
