The Highland Council is recruiting for permanent and fixed term posts commencing in August 2024. Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) settings are varied in size due to the rural and urban settings. Visit the MyJobScotland for more information and to apply.

We are currently recruiting for qualified and unqualified staff; people with experience of working with young children and people seeking a new career; young people with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Working in the Early Learning environment, you can expect to support children to learn through play whilst nurturing them to grow and develop, allowing a child centred approach whilst tracking their learning journey.

The Highland Council is a real wage accredited employer, offering a competitive salary with an incremental and annual pay review.

Contracts are term time, with contracted hours and annual leave. In addition, you can enjoy:
