Developing the Young Workforce North Highland

Creative Careers Week 2023 is a chance for the sector to come together and showcase the wide variety of opportunities there are within the sector and inspire employees of the future.

Creative Careers Week 2023 will run from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th October 2023. Developing the Young Workforce , Creative & Cultural Skills, and Historic Environment Scotland will be shining a spotlight on careers in the creative and cultural industries for the third Creative Careers Week campaign.

Aims:

• Raise awareness among young people, educators, parents and careers’ influencers of the breadth of roles and range of pathways available within the creative and cultural industries
• Inspire young people to consider a career in the creative and cultural industries while highlighting the breadth of roles and range of pathways availableand challenge misconceptions about what a job in creative and cultural sector is.
• Encourage and support employers across the creative and cultural industries to engage with young people and education through the Creative CareersWeek 2023 programme
