Candidates must have passed the SECTT test prior to applying.

About the SECTT Test
SECTT uses a Pre-employment Assessment test covering technical comprehension and numeracy to select applicants who are interested in becoming apprentice electricians.

Once you have completed the application form below click the Submit button to send through your application. Once you have applied, you will be required to undertake the Pre-employment Assessment to help decide whether a modern apprenticeship in the Electrotechnical industry is suitable for you.
The SECTT assessment has 45 Numeracy questions and 25 Technical comprehension questions, you will have 1 hour to complete. You are not permitted to use a calculator, but can use pen and paper to do workings as required. Please be aware SECTT will not issue the required pass mark.
