About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team as the supportive force behind our People and Culture activities. 
  • As a position with people at its core, your role will be dynamic and see you doing different things and working with different team members every day. 
  • You’ll provide administrative support to the Head of P&C and the P&C Partner through various projects such as inputting employee data into the payroll system, completing contract templates, and more.  
  • Talent attraction and retention is key, and you’ll support the team with all recruitment activities including managing the candidate tracker, arranging interviews, and performing various other associated tasks. 
  • You’ll support the P&C Partner in their role as ambassador for the Club at local schools and colleges, promoting Skibo as a ‘first choice place to work’. 
  • You’ll plan and organise exciting events for our wider team, from holiday parties to our Long Service Dinner to Recruitment Open Days and beyond! 
  • Working with the People and Culture team, you’ll assist with the planning, organising, and booking of staff training taking place both on and off site by liaising with providers and organising travel and accommodation.

Who we are looking for 

  • You’re a self-starter with an enthusiastic, patient, and flexible approach to work.
  • You can use your top-notch communication skills and attention to detail to solve problems as they arise.
  • You have experience performing administrative tasks within an office environment.
  • You’re constantly searching for ways to improve what we do and how we do it, and your can-do attitude sees you taking on various tasks, both large and small, with this aim.
  • An ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines is vital to this role, and you thrive in an environment which is at times fast paced.
  • As team player with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively, you can work at pace and enjoy what you do!
  • You have experience working with highly sensitive data and information in a confidential manner.
  • You’re highly comfortable using Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and have a strong aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • A genuine passion to make a difference will see you thrive in this role, and you take pleasure in problem solving, helping others, and going above and beyond to support the wider team at Skibo!
